A Few Cards

I've had these cards made for awhile and snapped some photos that I didn't like the coloring on. Then didn't seem to get around to taking new ones. Here they finally are. I had one more to share, but it was picked up for a magazine...yipee! These first two cards were made with the October Afternoon Fly A Kite collection. The mini alphas are also October Afternoon...I love mini alphas - they are a staple in my stash. The last card was made using Sassafras Lass's Apple Jack collection. The little strip under the star is from the scalloped paper age that comes on all of their papers. I am also a sucker for scalloped stuff! I hope that everyone has a great 3 day Memorial weekend!

You know that feeling when you see a line of paper and know exactly which photos will go with it? well that is how I felt when I saw this basic grey line.I knew that it wouls be perfect with this photo of my sweet maggie when she was little. It compliments her dress well and still keeps the focus on her beautiful face!
I did some sewing, used some cheese cloth for texture, used some epoxy flourishes by thickers(I think) some silk flowers and some pearl "buttons".
Well here have a look.......................................

Well since noone was "impressed" with those two then how about this little beauty....

off the page again!!

Hello again Kristie here, I have done a little creating!I know,, hard to believe
But I did , and I took my scrapbook papers "off the page" again!
The first thing I have to show you is a little sunglasses case that I made with the artsylicious papers from that scrappy girls store. It is super stylish with black embossed paper, silver "piping" and a beaded handle. Is goona look so cute hanging in my car!!
The second thing is a little mini album with some more papers from the store, a little jillibean soup this time.I used the little farmhouse as an embellishment, added some jute around the adges to give it that country feel, and dangled some beads from the ring. I really do think it is cute,, how bout you??!!

Some More Sassafras

Here are a couple more cards I made using the new Sassafras Lass papers. On this card I used the Nerdy Bird papers and stickers. The sun and cloud are stickers and the bird I cut from the patterned paper.

On the second card I used the Apple Jack papers and stickers . What I love about the Sassafras Lass papers is they all come with a fun scalloped border on each paper. I used a piece under the star sticker.

October Afternoon Cards

Here are a couple cards I made using October Afternoon's Fly A Kite Collection. I'm so excited it's now in the store - loving this collection! Extras are Basic Grey buttons and brads and October Afternoon ABC stickers. I will be back again later this week to share some more Fly a Kite projects.

Here is a card using October Afternoon's Night Light and Basic Grey buttons. I love the colors in this collection - very gender neutral and can be used for all kinds of cards and other projects.
I hope that everyone had a great National Scrapbooking Day! We'd love to see what you created!
