We had a great time at CKC in K.C. this weekend. We took a lot of classes and of course did a lot of scrapbooking. My favorite booth and classes this weekend were from Technique Tuesday. Darcy and the rest of the team were not only goofy and fun during the crops, but they were very helpful and educational.

Here's the skinny on ink...Not all inks are created equally and each ink does have a particular purpose for the job. A Pigment ink is permanent. You will get a crisp look when stamping with this ink, but beware, it can take some time to dry. Typically permanent ink is used for transparancies, altered projects, wood, metal, etc. The next type of ink is a Dye ink. This is going to be the most common for scrapbooking and cardmaking. Distress ink is for making a project looked aged and distressed. This is not the best type of ink for stamping. Chalk is extremely versatile. It gives you a large color variety and it is extremely easy to work with.

No matter what type of ink you use for your project it is always best to store your ink upside down. The ink will pool to the bottom and keep the pad wet and saturated.
